Bidding ended. Lot is unsold.

late 19th century, with later painted square wood platforms above Composite order capitals; with later painted wood stepped bases beneath,

Height 81cm overall

The dove grey painted wood tops and bases are modern, and in perfectly good order.

The gilt bronze mounts are also in good order.

The columns are minorly scuffed and chipped in places overall. There are more significant chips at the tops and bottoms of the columns where they are seated in the metal mounts. One column has a restored breakage crack circa one third of the way down. The square alabaster tops also have old restored cracks, but all appear to be in perfectly stable and satisfactory order now.

The columns remain in perfectly presentable condion.
