An exceedingly rare surviving original manuscript Air-Crew patrol roster and hand-transcribed weather forecast report dated 14th August 1940 for RAF Station Coltishall, timed between 10.00-12.00 hrs ; detailing pilots at readiness for "Blue" and "Red" Sections with comprehensive information on cloud-type level base, wind-speed, visibility etc; squadron not identified but seven pilots available with their aircraft letters as follows: Blue - P/o ?Leorne, V, Sgt. Evers Z, P/o Baxter P, Sgt. Pittock W: Red - F/Lt ?Batsford 3R Sgt. Standing X4, A N Other Y (indistinctly erased) all inscribed verso of printed sheet headed "Pilot's Gunnery Report" RAF Form Appendix III; and further with sundry pencil annotations etc., together with a "Battle of Britain" RAF Air Ministry publication booklet dated January 1941 account of the event; and a further Battle of Britain Commemorative souvenir booklet for the dedication ceremony of the Bob Memorial Window in Westminster Abbey dated 1947 (3)
