Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.
Circa 1875, the twin doors each with a central oval reserve with a Campan urn issuing flowers in applied relief, with further foliate carved hardstones to the spandrels, with foliate cast gilt metal border mounts; flanked by pilasters with gilt metal maidens' busts, the ends with bowed glass doors and further maidens' bust pilasters
CONDITION:
The credenza is in basically perfectly satisfactory condition, the only real detraction being that approximately 25 of the carved stone foliate elements, as well as some stalk elements are missing. The glass ends are in good order, and other than the usual very minor knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use, it is perfectly presentable.
