Bidding ended. Lot is unsold.
Circa 1860, the canvas support shelf and upper support with Archimedes screw mechanism for height and pitch adjustment, a brush shelf below, with a brass handle to each side, the 'H' frame base on four wood castors
CONDITION:
The easel bears the usual minor knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use. There are traces of paint in places but very minorly. The mechanism is working but is rather stiff. One of the wooden castors at the front, and its metal bracket come out of their socket hole in the base, and will need refixing. The easel doesn't appear to be cut down. Basically, perfectly presentable condition overall.
