A GEORGE IV OR WILLIAM IV STAINED HARDWOOD AND UPHOLSTERED CAMPAIGN ELBOW CHAIR,

Circa 1830, the rectangular back, seat and detachable arms with leather upholstery, the turned legs and brass caps and castors unscrewing beneath the seat

CONDITION:

The item is in good order, other than the usual minor knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use. The green leather is later replaced, but does not look too new. The leather armrests and their back brackets lift away from the fixed arms, once two brass finger-and-thumb screws are released at the back. The basic arms do not come away. The legs unscrew.
