circa 1760, the rectangular height adjustable screen with later inset printed cotton depiction of a bird amongst foliage, the knopped and twist moulded stem with urn finial, above three cabriole legs to pad feet, 


Provenance: Sold from the attics of Longleat in the 1980's.

The item bears the usual minor scuffs and knocks, overall consistent with age and use. The fabric and backing fabric are possibly later replaced. The lot is in good condition overall.
