last quarter 19th century, the outscrolled backrest with scrolling foliate cresting above an openwork register of five interlaced and scrolling strapwork panels, with conforming armrests flanking the slatted seat, on splayed legs to pad feet,
Height 89cm
Width 166cm
Depth 72cm

The item bears the usual minor scuffs and knocks overall consistent with age and use.

The bench has been repainted, probably more than once.

There are six thick gauge iron strengthening bars at the back, securing areas that might have been broken in the past.

Structurally, all is now absolutely solid, and the bench is in very good shape.
