with Amsterdam town mark and indistinct makers mark, 17th/18th century, with a pierced body, hinged handle and a removable lid, 3.6cm diameter x 2.2cm high; together with a Dutch silver miniature double ended sauce boat, 17th/18th century with scroll handles on a raised oval foot and a brazier on three raised scroll feet (3)

Provenance: Part of the collection formed by Baron Michiels van Verduynen (1885-1952), the Dutch ambassador to the Court of St James’(1939-1942). After the collection returned to the family’s residence Huys Clingendael. Thence by descent to the Barons Van Tuyll van Serooskerken.
