A DUTCH SILVER MINIATURE BRANDY BOWL

indistinctly marked, 17th/18th century, of circular pedestal form, embossed with leafy tendrils decoration and with two open work handles, 3.2cm high x 8cm wide (22.8 grams); together with a Dutch silver miniature tobacco jar and cover, with Amsterdam town mark, probably 18th century, of lobed form, on a ribbed foot (26.05 grams) (2)

Provenance: Part of the collection formed by Baron Michiels van Verduynen (1885-1952), the Dutch ambassador to the Court of St James’(1939-1942). After the collection returned to the family’s residence Huys Clingendael. Thence by descent to the Barons Van Tuyll van Serooskerken.
