struck with date mark 'P' and later import mark, 5cm long x 2.5cm high x 1.6cm wide (18.49 grams), together with a Dutch silver miniature of a man pushing a wheel-barrow, indistinctly marked, probably 18th century with turned rails (18.61 grams)(2)

Provenance: Part of the collection formed by Baron Michiels van Verduynen (1885-1952), the Dutch ambassador to the Court of St James’(1939-1942). After the collection returned to the family’s residence Huys Clingendael. Thence by descent to the Barons Van Tuyll van Serooskerken.
