nude full length female reclining on a chaise longue in an interior, holding a hand mirror in her left hand, behind her there is a green velvet draped curtain, which has been partially opened to reveal a landscape beyond, a small dog appearing from behind the chaise at her feet, signed lower left, 115cm x 150cm

It is in attractive country house condition. The canvas has an old relining with associated retouching, mainly to the top right hand corner and to the sky. Although it does not detract from the overall appearance of the picture. It could also be discolouration of the old vanish. Overall a very attractive piece.

The provenance, is a private collection in Surrey, the Dorsa family.
