to include signatures of Charles Dickens, Samuel Pepys and Admiral Penn, as well as a letterhead of Charles Darwin's.

The book itself is in poor condition, worn faded, bereft spine and loose leaves throughout. The various autographs, notes and envelopes within are in far better shape. They are far too numerous to describe individually, but it should be noted that Samuel Pepys' is rather dirty and foxed, as is Admiral Penn's. In the Darwin letter head the ink has got wet at some point and run.
