enameled in polychrome with a border of roses and circlets of leaves within an undulating border highlighted in gilt, the base with a "Gold Anchor" mark, 32cm wide, a pair of Caughley leaf-shaped dishes, transfer printed in blue with daffodils, 14.5cm, and a Derby inkwell of circular form decorated in puce with neo-classical military trophies, a burning torch, and other neo-classical motifs, the base with a painted mark in red, 15cm diameter maximum (4)

The Chelsea dish broken with riveted repairs, and the leaf-shaped dishes with some chips and cracking, perhaps as a result of firing. The inkwell has some wear and damage consistent with age including a chip to the inner rim and an associated crack.

Additonal information:

Oval dish has been cracked in several places and visibly repaired. One of the pickle dishes has the end of one leaf chipped off; also there are one or two further more minor chips to the edges and two hairline cracks. Inkewell with rubbing to gilt and one large rim chip with resulting hairline crack. All with general signs of age and use.
