Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.
circa 1900 and later elements, of typical form, with horsehair mane, inset glass eyes and leather tack; mounted on horizontal pine bars, on wrought iron swing brackets on the pine base,
Height 97cm
Length 110cm

The items bears the usual minor scuffs and knocks overall consistent with age and use.

The horse is repainted overall.

Gesso has chipped away from both ears. The right hind leg is slightly loose in its joint, and the gesso has come away where there is movement.

All tack appears to be later replaced, and the mane might be too.

It is probable that the item has gone through a professional restoration.
