Believed to have been purchased at a dispersal sale of Vivien Leigh's possessions at Mere, Wiltshire, after the actress's death in 1967; afterwhich, apparently sold at Lawrences, Crewkerne in 2005. The lot was described as having reputedly been the property of Vivien Leigh. The tent apparently served well when she required a change of clothes between scenes, whilst filming on location |
