second half 19th century, of  lozenge section, with a riveted loop handle at each end,

Length overall 67cm

The item bears the usual minor scuffs and knocks overall consistent with age and use.

Very minor dents and pitting in places overall. Polish residue in recesses. 

The cover no longer fits tightly, it being a little misshapen. 

Staining to the interior in places.

Basically good condition overall.
