A STAINED HARDWOOD AND GILT TOOLED LEATHER CARTONNIER,
19th century, with eight drawers arranged in two files, all with ring handle and fall front, with a brass swing handle at each side, on turned and tapering legs,
Hardwood frame lacks polish, has stain marks and slight splitting to the top. All leather fronts are worn and a few tears. Tooling to edges worn in places. backboards have later tape covering the gaps.
