Estimate: £100 - £200
Hammer price: £100
Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.
circa 1825, the twin drop leaves of the rectangular top with rounded corners, above twin frieze drawers to the front, twin false to the back, all with turned knob handles, on four spiral carved supports united by a conforming stretcher, to four reeded legs with brass caps and castors,
Height 70cm
Length opened 150cm
Width 72cm

The item bears the usual very minor knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and normal use. There is a significant water stain of circa 12" to the top.

One brass castor and holding bracket (but not the cap) is a replacement. It is ill-fitting and falls off when the table is lifted, but sits perfectly well when fitted to the table and the gravity is switched back on.

Otherwise, good shape overall.
