mid 18th century, of diminutive proportions, the upper leaf opening and supported on a hinge out back leg, the lower leaf opening to the interior, the slender legs descending to pad feet,

The item bears the usual minor scuffs and knocks, overall consistent with age and use. Replaced section of approx 1.5 x 10cm at back left edgeof top. Corresponding repair directly below to lower leaf. Similar restoration at far right of lower leaf. Underside is later replaced. Possibly recoloured overall.
