mid 18th century, the shield backs each with a painted armorial within an oval reserve, the shaped seats each on twin trestle supports with a uniting stretcher,
The item bears the
usual minor scuffs and knocks, overall consistent with age and use. Painting has possibly been refreshed at some point. Also replacement screws to under-seat brackets. Otherwise very good condition.
