circa 1775, the hinged rectangular top with rounded front corners, the friezes with further banding, on slender, tapering square section legs,

The item bears the usual minor scuffs and knocks, overall consistent with age and use.  A substance has been split on the top which has 'burned' through the polish to the timber and this will need addressing. Top is faded compared to interior. Top overhangs at the front by 2-4mm.
