late 17th /early 18th century, the cleated rectangular top above a slide with twin wrought iron loop handles, the front with a central pair of marquetry panel doors, flanked by niches with scallopshell overhangs, and interspersed with fluted columns, above four frieze drawers, on four bun feet,

The item bears the usual minor scuffs and knocks, overall consistent with age and use. Stains and scratches to top. Please, the peice is possibly adapted overally, perhaps from a larger, double level piece. Feet are later. A moulding is detahced (but present)) from central column plinth. Traces if old worming in places overall. 


Top is polished. There is one shelf within. The item is not high enough to use for hanging clothes in. The drawer interiors are softwood.
