with leather handle cover, with old shipping stickers from P&O SN Co Bombay to Plymouth, with paper label inscription to the base of the bowl off a P&O British ship built by Harland & Wolff Ltd which was converted into an armed merchant cruiser early in WWII and sunk by gunfire in the North Atlantic during her gallant fight with the German warships on November 23rd 1939
