We believe we have the correct Schaack and he was an Oberleutnant with II. Abteilung, Artillerie-Regiment (motorisiert) 36, 36. Infanterie-Division.
The album covers the immediate pre-war years and has some fantastic images and signatures.
The album also comes with all the loose photographs shown in the last picture. Many have handwritten notations to the reverse. Some of these look to be wartime.
