AN IMPORTANT ELIZABETH I OAK DRAW-LEAF REFECTORY TABLE,

the rectangular top with pull-out leaves below and a carved strap work apron on four stop-fluted column legs joined by moulded stretchers,
434cm extended (217cm closed) x 87cm wide x 88cm high (closed)

Provenance: By tradition Owlpen Manor, Stroud, Gloucestershire and removed to Owlpen House in 1848, until sold by the family.

This monumental oak refectory table survives in remarkably untouched condition retaining both the original top and stretchers.

Condition Report: The table is in wonderful dry untouched condition except for the frame supporting the draw leaves which is largely replaced although original elements survive.:
