circa 1900, of demi-lune form, each with three openwork graduated tiers, 87cm high x 122cm wide x 63cm deep 

Both stands have been repainted, probably more than once over the years.

They are perfectly stable as they stand. One stand has one semi-circular bar loose where it meets one shelf. This might require a very simple reweld at that point, but the shelf still has two other bars which are perfectly solid and hold pots.
