A VICTORIAN WALNUT OPEN BOOKCASE, IN THE MANNER OF HOWARD & SONS, BY WATERER & SONS,
circa 1880, with dentilled cornice and canted angles carved with lanceolate leaf edging, stamped I.WATERER & SONS, CHERTSEY to the reverse, 145cm high x 94cm wide x 26cm deep
Only the shelves that are shown in the picture remain with the piece. The piece is in good country house condition, there is splitting to the veneers in places and other wear consistent with age and use.
