circa 1815, of circular form with gadrooned outer edge, the underside dished -possibly for reversible use, 4cm high x 21.5cm diameter 

I have a question

The item bears the usual minor knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use. There is a circa 10cm split from the base underside up and along one side. Traces of old glue in the split. Underside has a probably later canvas liner.
