second half 20th century, with gilt tooled royal cypher ER to the hinged cover, a swing brass handle to the top; and a late George III mahogany and gilt brass banded decanter case, circa 1800, the hinged cover with engraved brass armorial and swing handle, the dispatch box 16cm high x 46cm long, the decanter case 18cm high x 25cm wide 

Despatch box - Surface wear, hinges work fine, handle sturdy, remnants of a sticker on the lid and leather in one corner is coming away. 

Box - Surface scratches, some heavy gouges throughout, missing brass from top.
