There are approximately 40 books in the lot. The leather bound Sternes are rather rough overall. Most of the other books are 20th century and bear the usual minor scuffs, knocks and creases consistent with normal use.
The paper jackets of the Churchill set are in places torn. The first volume is inscribed for E.Blewitt of Cheltenham.
