late 18th century, the top with reeded front and side edges, the two short and two graduated long drawers all with brass swing handles with oval backplates repousse embossed with a tholos rotunda to the upper two levels and a reclining figure of Plenty to the lowest, above a shaped apron and splayed legs, 85cm high x 107cm wide x 56cm deep 

The item bears the usual knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use. There is and was significant chipped loss at the front top left corner. Natural and stable cracks to the timber across the top. There is a gap of circa 0.5cm above the top edge of the middle draw when it is closed, suggesting some contraction. Upper corners of lower draw have lifting veneers. Lower draw lacks lock. Handles are replaced. Feet are knocked and scuffed overall.
