circa 1815, the rectangular upper shelf with pierced quaterfoil three-quarter gallery above a mirror and twin gilt metal columnar supports, the marmo Portoro top above three friezes of inset foliate cut brass marquetry, the twin gilt metal grille doors flanked bynreeded pilasters with scrollef acanthus capitals and lobed bun feet, the side compartments open with shelves, 136cm high x 167cm wide x 46cm deep 

Country house condition, quite badly damaged to top under marble, some veneer missing from ends. Surface wear throughout, shelves worn and scratched, front fabric faded and fraying. Marble has surface wear but appears structurally solid.
