Condition Report: click here
Estimate: £300 - £500
Hammer price: £1,100
Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

circa 1820, with shallow pyramid and caddy top, above a silvered circular Roman dial marked for ROBT. BRYSON EDINBURGH and with glass cover, the spandrels and moulded base with brass stringing, on four spherical feet; a brass swing handle at each side above a grille; the single train movement with pendulum, 33cm high x 23cm wide

Exterior is in good overall order but is lacking the moulding from the top right side. There is a late 20th century screw evident on each side holding the interior movement in place, suggesting replacement. The movement appears to be in good working order, although we do not guarantee the integrity the moving parts in clocks.
