last quarter 19th century, on a shaped, breakfront base, the reverse cast with indistinct diamond date mark, 37cm high; and a George IV brass door porter, circa 1825, with handle and stem above a knopped, waisted and weighted base, 26cm high 

The dog door porter has been repainted in places over time, but this has mellowed in to an attractive finish. 

Both door porters bear the usual minor knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use, but otherwise are in good order.
