Note: The original, in white marble was commissioned by Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria. It was one of six busts after the Antique supplied by Theed in 1856, intended for the gallery above the grand staircase at Buckingham Palace. The bust remains in the Royal Collection, (RCIN 2047)
