Lot 647

A LATE GEORGE III MAHOGANY BOWFRONT CHEST OF DRAWERS, BY GILLOWS,

Cf: Christie's Interiors, Style & Spirit, 1st April 2014, lot 98, -attributed to Gillows; and Christie's Interiors, 21st July 2015, lot 221, by Gillows. Both of these chests are extremely similar to the example here, although both differ in their dimensions (as they do from each other, too). The most defining feature in comparison of all three is the elegant 'kicked' foot, to both front and back feet.
