This dressing table is almost identical to lots 755 and 809 above, and all three are highly comparable to the Gillows stamped example in lot 584, but have clear variations in some areas, as well as remaining homogeneous in others. The galleries and legs are uniform, but in the stamped example there is a shallow arched kneehole rather than a straight underside, as here |
