Note: The Wilkinson furniture making business was first established by Joshua Wilkinson in 1766, the business passing to his son William and William's cousin Thomas in 1790. By 1808, William had set up his own business, using the Ludgate Hill stamp until 1825.

before 1825, the rectangular top with projecting knopped columns at the front corners, flanking two short drawers, one stamped WILKINSON LUDGATE HILL 13411, above three graduated long drawers, all with gilt metal knob handles and cock-beaded edging, on short knopped and waisted legs, 107cm high x 113cm wide x 56cm deep 

The item bears the usual minor knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use. Front might have been re-polished at some point. The sides are rather scuffed in places. The metal wear all appears to be original. Minor losses to cockbeading in places.
