with a crowned V duty/import mark, 18th/19th century, with a cow carcass stretched on a ladder, on a rectangular canted base, 8.5cm high x 5.5cm long x 2.9cm wide (39.20 grams )

Provenance: Part of the collection formed by Baron Michiels van Verduynen (1885-1952), the Dutch ambassador to the Court of St James’(1939-1942). After the collection returned to the family’s residence Huys Clingendael. Thence by descent to the Barons Van Tuyll van Serooskerken.
