		probably early 18th century, circular with a cylindrical socket and another similar of hexagonal form with an openwork scroll handle, the latter with a later duty stamp, otherwise apparently unmarked, 8.2cm long x 1.6cm high  (2)

Provenance: Part of the collection formed by Baron Michiels van Verduynen (1885-1952), the Dutch ambassador to the Court of St James’(1939-1942). After the collection returned to the family’s residence Huys Clingendael. Thence by descent to the Barons Van Tuyll van Serooskerken.
