indistinctly marked, 18th/19th century, with a lady sitting on a cane work chair holding a pan over a fire 3.8cm high x 4cm wide x 3.6cm deep (27.00 grams), together with a Dutch silver miniature of a man by Arnoldus Van Geffen (fl.1728-1769), lunging forward with a two prong spear in one hand and his other hand on his waist (12.00 grams) (2)

Provenance: Part of the collection formed by Baron Michiels van Verduynen (1885-1952), the Dutch ambassador to the Court of St James’(1939-1942). After the collection returned to the family’s residence Huys Clingendael. Thence by descent to the Barons Van Tuyll van Serooskerken.
