The writing surface slides out as a drawer, with the drawer front opening downwards with hinges. Its overall width, including pen and ink compartments at each side is 85cm. Its depth as far as the vertical back panel is 34cm. That is not the back of the drawer as there is a compartment behind, revealed when the drawer is pulled out further.

The dimensions of the actual baize area are 61.5 x 25cm. Depth overall is 64cm.

There are 76cm between the underside of the secretaire drawer and the floor.

Central cupboard door inside is locked shut. Some replacement veneers in places overall. Generally speaking - good shape.
