A GEORGE IV MAHOGANY CARD TABLE, POSSIBLY SCOTTISH,

circa 1825, the hinged top with rounded front corners, atop a central rectangular section pedestal to a quatreform base, with four splayed legs to stylised paw cast brass feet and castors, 73cm high, 91cm wide

The table bears the usual minor knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use. 

The top is lightened in colour from sunlight -not actually 'bleached' but certainly affected. There are slight warps to the top forming a shallow linear indent from left to right, as well as a gap at the left side of the top.

Replacement veneers in places. 

Splits to the timber nemeath the baize. Baize lining replaced.

Otherwise, perfectly satisfactory order.
