The object bears the usual minor knocks and scuffs overall consistent with age and use.

The gilding is probably original but is rather worn overall.

One sphere is missing from the left side of the cornice.

The applied relief composition mouldings are cracked overall, although they seem to be perfectly stable.

The glass is probably original.

The backboard is later replaced.
