		of Thames Valley type, with a raked back over an elm seat, on cabriole legs ending in pointed pad feet. 105cm high x 68cm wide across the arms. 
This form of chair relates to examples attributed to the workshops of John Pitt and Richard Hewett datable to the 1740's.
