He served with the East Surrey Regt landing in France on May 20th 1916. He survived the war and was issued a Silver War Badge in April 1918. In
civilian life, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and was awarded the
freedom of London in 1927. He died in Cyprus in 1952.
