David Finney
was born in Dalkeith, Midlothian, Scotland, in 1826. He attested in early 1854;
his civilian occupation was a Blacksmith. Finney served eleven months in Crimea
and New Zealand from January 8th 1864, to March 10th 1866.
Finney was discharged on
October 1st 1867, his medals are confirmed on the roll and in his service
papers.
