Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

In lovely 'country house' condition. Wear consistent with age. Lost much of original polychrome decoration with bare wood showing. Missing viewing left arm. Significant wear, including old wood worm holes to the back of his robe. Signs of vacant worm to the lion and the top of the knight. An old repair (with old nail) to the front feet of the lion. A small chip to the viewing left plinth under the lion. The facial fetaures are very finely carved and in remarkably good condition. Otherwise no obvious damage or repairs.
