A CHINESE BLANC DE CHINE FIGURE OF HOTEI,

the smiling figure reclining in loose robes holding a fruit in his left hand, probably early Qing, probably Kangxi, 15cm high, on a carved hardwood base with a key-pattern upper border.

Provenance: From a deceased Estate in West Meon, Hampshire.

There is cracking to the head (please see additional images). There is also a small crack to the glaze to the left side of the buddha circa two inches and chips around the rim of the base. Otherwise no obvious signs of restoration and the buddha has all fingers etc.
