A CHINESE EXPORT FAMILLE ROSE PART DINNER SERVICE

enamelled in polychrome with figures in a garden pavilion surrounded by flowers and enclosed by a fence in iron-red and gilt within underglazed blue foliate borders incorporating butterflies, Qianlong.

Comprising: a tureen and cover with boars-head handles, 36cm wide; three graduated meat plates, 34cm, 29cm and 25.5cm; a pair of sauceboats, 7.75cm; six bowls, 22.5cm dia; and seven plates, 22.5cm dia. (a collection)

All items showing signs of use to varying degrees, most plates/bowls with chips or cracks. Three of the bowls with stapled repairs, two plates with repairs, one stapled, one sauce boat with a broken handle, the other totally missing, medium sized meat plate stapled repair, tureen appears to be in relatively good order.
